Basements

The Basements plugin allows you to build secure, hidden rooms directly beneath your base foundations. Once placed, these underground spaces support deployables, furniture, and electrical items just like any normal room. You can expand your layout with multiple hatches to create tunnel networks, but beware—if all entrances are destroyed, the entire basement collapses and any loot inside will float to the surface.

How to Use & Tips

• Open your Tool Cupboard and click the Basement button
• Equip a hammer and ensure you have metal fragments in your inventory
• Strike a foundation inside your base to place the basement hatch
• Bring a flashlight, miner’s hat, or lantern—it’s completely dark underground
• Use a jackhammer to knock down interior basement walls (costs stone)
• Basement size is limited to the footprint of your above-ground structure
